This is a super fast sketch for this week's topic on IF. Here's my cat, mr. Jones. He agreed to model for me after I promised to double his weekly tuna supply.
He has big and strangely human eyes, I hope I conveyed this in the sketch, and he's very expressive.
Drawing cats is very difficult because they move constantly, even when they sleep, and the results are (mine at least) somewhat awkward.
Anyway, he's one of my favorite subject for sketching, he's always somewhere near the couch, so I can simply relax and try to capture his shape on paper. Moreover, I'd spend hours simply watching my cat doing nothing, it's very relaxing.
